To limerickman - since you really decided to take my post seriously, then I fail to see contradiction to what I posted, as McEwen did absolutely no work at the front. His teammates did go to the front at some point, so perhaps it's Henrik Redant or Freddy Rodriguez who deserve a stage win?!

And you are cracking me up with your seriousness - so by following your logic, on other stages where Lotto did ZERO work for McEwen (most stages in last year's Tour for exaple as McEwen doesn't need a team if he can find Petacchi's wheel) his wins were indeed "cheap" as my original post implied? Brilliant logic!!!

Deep belly laugh.

Perhaps you'd better preface your next amusing anecdote with the words "amusing anecdote" because, having read the odd one of your posts, it seems like you have a great deal of difficulty with humour (using it and understanding it).

Try this one.

Wasn't it great of LA to allow ____________________ (fill in the name of each stage winner for the T de F this year) to gift ____________________ the stage. He could have won it himself but preferred to allow _________________ to have some time in the limelight. What a guy.

That was a joke, and, probably like you with your witty paragraph, I am having trouble typing I have amused myself so much.

Well, French aren't exactly revered in Europe either. In a recent Eurostat poll they came first as the most disliked European nation... Main reasons were their arrogance and personal hygiene... (I think I may be wrong in that one). It's not coincidence that Germany attacked them so many times .

However, when the question becomes which is the most disliked nation worldwide then as an American you can be proud since your country's record is even better than France's... Another area where Americans excel over French...

. I wouldn't be against moving the TDF to California. I bet the riders would love to come here and ride. They could bring their families and visit Disneyland, Hollywood, and drink some good wine from Napa valley instead of that French stuff.
!!
Excellent, so instead of visiting the Luvre we can watch mechanical sharks and plastic bimbos...
