If Flyer was banned 'cos he was being directly rude to people, then there are some others we could loose as well.

YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!

Flyer was posting on another Forum under the guise of H202.

He was issued with warnings about his postings and now this:

H202 - your re-posting of the same material in the same topic and also posting it in other topics is tedious (the AIS information) and I seem to have lost my patience somewhere - if you see it, please message me.

Anyway, you have been set to moderated mode for awhile. Which means you submit a post and it is queued for the moderator (me). Then when I get around to reading it, I decide if it will make it onto the board - I can allow it to be posted, I can delete it, or I can just let it sit there.

When submitting posts, please keep in mind that we do not have a department of redundancy department here.

It is an effective ban as our Flyer cannot conform. We have seen no posts since. Flyer will next pop up on unmoderated RBR.

Although it was my first post here, as a matter of fact, I am a regular reader of this forum for quite a while and flyer is not new to me. Maybe I was missing something leading to his ban, otherwise I don't generally agree to ban a person in an open forum.

I might not agree with everything Flyer may say, but he should be unbanned as he makes contribution to the forum too.

I have mostly watched from the sidelines, so take this FWIW.

The mods of cyclingforums in general don't seem to like his message.......he's also banned at dailypelotons doping forum.....

But she (the mod of dailypeloton) doesn't want bad things said about cycling.......the whole LA thing isn't being covered there........IF all media are covering it how come they don't..........

Even when he posts he can't say everything; he stays within the legal boundaries.......he always says he knows waaaaaaay more, but he would get sued if he tells everything (or in his case banned!!!)

Even in PM's he's always very cryptic....and when you ask some questions he says I can't reveal more......

But youre right would have liked him on the board during this.........I'm sure he knows more.......

He just has to learn to argue his case in a little less insultive manner (not that i'm affected by it), don't take over all threads, don't personally insult (not that i'm affected). But I didn't think he did much wrong, and his approach was refreshing, if aggressive which I liked. I learned a bit more from him.

If people were really insulted by him, then they should really liven up, this is just a cycling forum and we're just discussing cycling, it's not the most important thing (although we like to think it is).

BTW where do you PM him? Do you know who banned him and for what reason?

Mjte- you are a piece of work, after some of the things you said on these boards and in PM's about Flyer you are now saying he gets banned because people don't like the message. Either you are too stupid to understand what really happened or you are simply a troll, someone who tries to stir things up.

Ullefan- He was banned by Steve because of his pm'ing threats to people, calling people dopers, accusing people of selling dope and reposting the same posts over and over in any and every thread, whether about that topic or not.

After multiple exchanges with him, I find it more than reasonable to assume he doesn't know anything more than what he posted. In my experience, he was quite prone to claiming to "know" things he certainly didn't know. Perhaps this is a generalization, but when someone posts as aggressively as he did, and then claims they know more that they can't say, it's a pretty fair bet that they're not practicing honesty.

I'm not sure what boundaries you're talking about, but the posts I received from him, (and I was fortunate enough not to receive any threatening PMs), weren't within any forum boundaries I'm familiar with.

I think "discussing" is a key word here. What Flyer did doesn't fall within any definition of "discussion" of which I'm aware.

I think you should consider the very strong possibility that it was his delivery, (and threats), rather than his message that lead to the ban.

Oh come on this is ridiculous... At times there were 4 or 5 guys that insulted Flyer at the same time. The impression I got was that some of the Armstrong-fans of this forum were in a contest to see who would insult him the most. There were posters that started posting just to insult Flyer. And now Flyer is the black-sheep? Because he snapped (eventually)? Well kudos to the man for holding on that much... If I were the mod there would be a few others accompanying Flyer on the way out...
