Did you extend the same goodwill to Rush Limbaugh? Maybe thats why he is continually rated as the dumbest congresman in Washington.......Are the "painkillers" made to work with booze?. I recall dopey pat having several other problems operating his vehicle.

It was just coincidence (again!) that it was her ex-boyfriend, who had dumped her and/or had been seeing someone else?

He's also had plenty of chances to get his act straight on the doping, but decided to keep using. He belongs in prison, right next to the people that have done the same kind of law-breaking, which he's always said deserves to be incarcerated.

Sure he is an addict. But he wasn't dropping that many Oxies for the pain, (a news article I saw said he had 2000 pills). When you're doing that much dope - you're doing it for the high.

You can't imagine just how favorable Limbaugh's treatment at the hands of Florida (and the Fed's) law enforcement has been until you remember that the Federal investigation of Limbaugh for money laundering just evaporated--it just went away. If you recall, Rush had withdrawn over $200,000 from his New York bank, in multiple sums of just under $10,000 in cash to pay for his drugs. That's illegal when it is done to evade the law on reporting banking transactions of $10,000 or more. I guess the DOJ is too busy investigating Quaker Peace activists to bother with Limbaugh?

Also, if you remember back when this case broke. It was because Limbaugh's former housekeeper (who he used as a drup runner) was afraid she would get into trouble with the law and she had emails, prescriptions, tape-recordings, etc., of Limbaugh asking her to get dope for him. She first took all that evidence to the local cops, expecting them to bust Limbaugh. They did nothing.

Let me tell you what would have happened if it had been anybody but Limbaugh: The Fuzz would have gone to a judge for a search warrant for Rush's pad. Then they would have set up a sting using the housekeeper. She would have called old Rush up and told him she had a bunch of Oxies for him if he would meet her in the parking lot of the local Wal-Mart. They would have recorded the call. Then when Rush showed to buy the Oxies from the housekeeper, after the transaction they would have busted him and gone to his house with the search warrant and found enough evidence to send him away for 30 years.

But, the local cops did nothing.

After a few weeks of no action by the police, the housekeeper went to the National Inquirer, who broke the story. The cops then started to "investigate." But it was several weeks before they got a search warrant for his house--he had plenty of time to dump all the evidence. If it had been one of the Dixie Chicks, or really anybody else--they would be in prison right now.
