As an American I don't see Britain as like the US in the violence and uncultured depts, at least not since the IRA's attacks (and Gov't responses) have died down. Certainly Brits are not as rude as 'Merkuns, at least those that I've met are not.

But, as Blair has become more Bush-like every day on foreign policy, Britain's image abroad is declining as is the US'.

I would be forever in your debt if you would provide this very valuable public service,

Thank You,

"Uncaring" I think that there are is a pretty good percentage of people in this country that only think of themselves. But there are a lot of folks that give a lot. Posting stats about how much "per capita" money Americans give abroad and how low it is in comparison to other much smaller nations does not reflect how much internal support our country shows.

"Divided By Class" Absolutely we are but for any Briton to even talk about another country's social/economic separation with any criticism is about as funny as Ethiopia telling the world how grow crops. I mean come on Englands entire status system is based on economic status. The damn government is set up to give different classes of people different levels of representation, House of Lords, House of Commons.

"Violent Crime" Yes this is a tremendous problem here. Thank the democrats.

"Proccupied with Money" Don't fault a Capitalistic society for trying to better itself. Anyone in this country has the opportunity to become a millionaire.

The rest I really don't have a comment on

You really think so - anybody? Well, at least that's the old saw they told you in grammar school.

Tell that to the inner city kids selling crack and getting shot every day, or the millions of working poor that can't possibly afford to go to a doctor or dentist, let alone an education.

A capitalist society trying to "better itself"...such as imperialist invasions of sovereign countries to control and profit from their oil?

Please. When you get a grip on reality, come back and we'll talk.
