Well, at least that's the old saw they told you in grammar school.Tell that to the inner city kids selling crack and getting shot every day, or the millions of working poor that can't possibly afford to go to a doctor or dentist, let alone an education. A capitalist society trying to "better itself"...such as imperialist, illegal invasions of sovereign countries to control and profit from their oil? When you get a grip on reality, come back and we'll talk.

America is a wonderful country. Out of all the places in the world, it was the only place on this planet that all of my grandparents were welcome to come to when cossack murderers made it impossible for them to stay in the pale of settlement, Russia/Poland/Belarus/Lithuania/Galacia, etc........Czar Alexander got his rewards for being such a nice guy. Good will triumph over evil, in the end.
No other country is as great as America. Sorry gang.

in the report it states that a large percentage of brits have deemed Bush as a terrible leader. 1% said he was a great leader, however, we all have elements of society that should be locked away for thier own protection. UK is no different. Did you miss the part about 77% liked Americans? When you say that America is great, exactly what makes it great? With the possible exception of the Mugabe regime, i would say that the US admin is the most despised regime of all, and that includes a large percentage of Americans. It doesnt shape up as a great country in my book. When was the last time anyone here felt inspired by anthing that came from the US or anything that they did? I know i am scratching my head. When was the last time they committed an appauling act that was condemed the world over? What about business corruption from Microsoft to Enron... Illegal concentration camps in the 21st century? Expliotation of poor countries with rich natural resources. Great? Does money or greed make you great?

You say that with such certainty. Why is that? I mean, maybe he is and maybe he isn't, but how can you be so certain? Are you David Millar? Sounds like you're going to believe whatever you want no matter what so long as it serves your purpose. I have plenty of cycling heros, but I'll never pretend to know what they put in their bodies. Why are you trying so hard to be right? Has this thread gotten so ridiculous now that you're trying to prove the UK is great by saying some dude got 4th in the Tour? Give it up. If you're happy where you live, great! Stay there! Same goes for everybody. |

I find it ironic that 2Fast as the self-styled defender of America embodies all that others despise about my homeland - the bigotry, intolerance, hatred that spews from people who have the right to speak but nothing of value to say.
Whenever I have a strange lapse and consider returning to the USA, the Internet always saves me. All I have to do is log on and find people like 2Fast. |

BTW - I'll repeat again that I don't succumb to extortion. That's a far cry from being a "crook", so you can blow that out yerass. Nessism has been told many times that if he wants the fork back, he can send a call tag for it and I'll be more than willing to pack it up. Funny how the greedy/crazy bastard can't seem to do that, but has said he expects me to pay the return shipping. Not. Gonna. Happen. He will under no circumstances ever get another nickel out of me. In fact, the fork won't be on my rig much longer, so it'll be just sitting in its box until/unless he sends for it. As for your other brainless remark, you have no idea what my residence is like from a few pics of my back patio area. I suggest you quit showing your desperation to find something to insult me with. ![]()

As far as preventing you from returning to the U.S. well, I consider it a public service. However, I could use a little help. Can you please spread your message to all of those people who desire to leave but just don't know where to go or how to go about it...Perhaps you could publish a handbook to help others who feel like you do. Once again, I would forever be in your debt sir...

As for my freedoms, I enjoy them all here in Thailand, and then some. I am NOT allowed to criticize the king, but then just try heckling Bush at one his speeches and you'll find you can't do it either. Did you think America was the only place in the world that guaranteed free speech, free press, free religion? It's not, and many of the places that guarantee those freedoms actually act on the guarantee. Another thing, I enjoy freedom from fear of violent crime. It hasn't happened to me once in a decade here. It is rare, and I never think of it. The last time it happened to me was in New York City, 5:30 am at 15th Street-Prospect Park subway station in 1998. I visited the U.S. a year after 9/11 and found a semi-police state. I wasn't even allowed to leave my 8-year-old son at the books section in WalMart for fear of some child snatcher. They actually paged him as a lost boy. Just sitting there reading like he does all the time here in Asia. Now tell me, where are he and I more free? As much as anything else, I don't want my son to grow up in a culture of fear - and that's just what America has become. Look man, you don't have to take my word for it - just come here and see for yourself. It's not too late to find an antidote to the cool aid Dumya is feeding you! [/QUOTE]You actually used Google Earth to find the guy's house so you could insult him for it? You are a pathetic SOB. Just like a f'ing republican, always spying in other people's houses. Why don't you try zooming in over eastern Bangkok. I'm the one with his middle finger extended asshole!
