Worst thing about the boulevards is the crappy road surface - and bloody dark if you don't have decent lights (me!) The TT for the Herald sun Tour this year is on Kew Blvd. Perhaps they will re-surface it?

Hawthorn velo gets good light spill from the hockey grounds.

I live in Brunswick so I try to loop back to here.

I currently ride the City->Yarra Blvd->Kew Blvd->Brunswick loop a couple of times a week, and yeah is really safe but getting sick of it.
I'd like to extend it a bit too. I started riding from Fairfield all the way up victoria st then up to bell st but didn't know where to go next.

Some cars pull out of those side streets pretty quick though. And when your cruising along at 30 or so kays an hour its hardly enough time to stop.

My training stratagy is probably not quite right (woohoo NQR ).

I try to fit all my training in without having to go too far out of my way, yet I still expect to some how get in 300-400kms a week.

So going out on a Tuesday night to train is foreign to me.

Maybe what I really need some commitment.

That chip-seal surface is as rough as hessian undies. Bring on the hotmix!

I had an issue with Marty early in my tenure at BF and told him so. It was resolved in a very gentlemanly manner. Marty is okay in my book and a good example of a moderator doing his job right.

Cheers,

Perhaps I should start a thread up called 'The African American Thread' and see if they nuke that?
Thylacine, go for it! I've always been a bit of an agitator though!

As a Seppo from BF (Cromulent over there), I will truly miss TAT, which I've been reading off and on for months. Wildly entertaining. Sorry about all the moronocity. Why Koffee is picking on you guys is a bit beyond me. I'm not sure when making fun of Ned Flanders became anti-American, but whatever. It's not like idiots get banned/threads get moved or closed when they start bashing the French or whatnot.
