I think you said you could get a good workout up steep hills without much road spray.

by the way, the 'junk' bike always starts as Sora or old 105, but invariably ends up at least as an Ultegra bike My crap bike started as a mix of 8sp Shimano 600 and 105, and is now a mix of 9sp Ultegra and Dura-Ace...ooops.

AAAAAGH!! I farkin hate that!!

There are 7 trillion miles of footpath suitable for jogging, but only a handful of really good roads for riding, and they have to jog on the fkn road????!! We spend half the time trying not to get killed, then we've gotta get round some dopey jogger who ya can't see in the dark!!

there's a guy who does it on the beach from Charman Rd. to Parkdale, and I put my head down, pretending not to see him, then ride right on the edge of the road.

I see some on Reserve Rd., too, and it's totally black near the golf course.

Probably a bit of both. It wouldn't have got to the stage it did (getting the arse or resigning) if it was just one thing. Wasn't the first time I've seen her be heavy handed either, especially when someone disagrees with one of her opinions.

if your even semi serious about cycling and your not getting 2gms of protein per kg of body weight per day then your a clown - period.

Oooooh...sounds like an open invitation the the 'Great Stern' to be visiting here real soon...he's got a brazillion reasons why we don't need protein supplements. FWIW, I agree with you...dunno much about the scientific facts, but I believe in what my body tells me.....& it always recovers better after a sesssion,with protein, than it does without. Theory is that we can get enough protein in a balanced diet...but who has that?....& whats a balanced diet anyway?...a 'crownie' in each hand?

I used to be a huge fan of Jim Hocking (The Astros, etc), and i went to the Musos Lounge every Monday night, just to watch him do 5 songs! I dunno how he got such a good sound out of a non-preamp Marshall and 2 Boss Overdrives!

Jack Jones blew me away as much as any of the guys above. He's a farking freak!! But now he cares too much about music to play like an 80s wanker -- he just does Hendriz licks, and hangs out with his hippy mates in Ackland St.
Agree, I'm thinking hair extensions for the Y-man a big possibility

Jimy Hocking is amazing. Seen him both acousitc & wired up. His BS in between songs is usually pretty entertaining too.

Jack Jones - killer guitarist - frickin scary monobrow!

SS = single speed

Joggers, yep. Driving to the beach for a surf at 6am and there are literally hundreds of them off at that time from Terrigal, they run 3 or 4 abreast up the main fucking road and expect you to drive on the median strip to go around them. Twats !
