Evidently, yes.

If there's anything we know about bike paths, its that most people who use them don't power along at 40km/h, and that people who do stupid things on bike paths are usually local residents than visitors.

The other point is that YOU have got a responsibility to your own safety and those of others as well.

If you'd been riding more defensively around an apparently BLIND corner, you may have given them enough time to see you and move out of the way. At 40km/h, the average bicyle user hasn't got a chance of moving out of the way, be they on their own or part of a group.

The colour of their skin or what they eat is irrelevant.

n

PS: One more thing - this rice-eater has never used the phrase "white pigs" to describe caucasian people, nor has any other rice eater in my extensive peer group. That's not to say it doesn't happen, but even if it did, retaliating with racist slurs such as yours makes you no better than anybody of any colour who discriminates on the basis of race, culture or religion.

Take your small minded cr@p elsewhere.

I'm not sure how war veterans, cars, coffee, and your plainly racist and judgemental beliefs are related.

For the record, I have met many Australian WW1, WW2, Korean and Vietnam war vets, and most are very pleasant people, who have absolutely no problem with how I look. None whatsoever. There are occasionally people throw out racist taunts, but in my experience, war vets are not usually amongst them.

If you'd ever fought in a war (like some of my relatives have - side by side with Australian troops), there's a good chance you'd realise that no matter which side you are on, you are all human, and all people.

So stop p!ssing all over people who aren't white, and don't tarnish the good name that many war veterans have by associating them with your racially motivated dribble.

I've worked in nursing homes, in community health, and am currently based in hospitals. I've seen people in both the city and in country NSW. I come across war veterans every week - it's usually apparent when people ask you about having their DVA forms filled in. In fact I often get asked about where I am from, and sometimes vets (or their wives) often volunteer to tell me about their experiences.

Your experience of vets opinions is what? n =3 or 5?

That doesn't make what you say any less inflammatory, racist, or any more acceptable.

Your responses and attempts at defending your views only show one thing - its that nobody needs to point out that you're a small minded, bigoted, and racist individual.

Just letting you speak for yourself is evidence enough.

Oh my God.

Give a fool enough rope and he will well and truly hang himself.

It must be a very lonely life to have such a narrow view of the whole world, including yourself.
