I am from Sydney (a long time ago) have been in WA for quite a while and know the area funkymonk is talking about reasonably well. It isnt your normal suburban cycle path it is out in the backblocks has a centreline and keep left signs and I well understand and sympathise with funkymonks frustration at finding the cycleway blocked by ppl who have no idea and probably shouldnt be 40 kms down the freeway with some guide who hasnt the foggiest anyway or more likely doesnt care.

Funkymonk posts it here (nothing wrong with that either btw) and right up front cops garbage from eastern staters who have no idea what they are on about. Why those ppl couldnt just stay out has got me stuffed - then to degenerate into accusations of racism is in my opinion offensive...........

That they were asian is irrellevent.(as whites, blacks asian, etc. all have egs of the dopey). Funkymonk is a case in point.

That Funkymonk needed to call them rice farters etc. shows his level of intelligence and was done for no reason other than to promote a them and us attitude. This is clearly dopey as he can't possibly imagine in any good faith that path blocking is only an Asian problem.

To try this us vs them negativity shit is perhaps not strictly racist, it clearly is vilifying.

Therefore he is dopey and so are you for defending a dope.

While I hate to admit, Mr. Funkymonk appear to be correct. We stop on path to walk on the rice paper, and snatch pebble from sensei's hand, and arrong comes a brazing pushbike with a guy with eyes like overcoat buttons, eating bacon and eggs, and wearing a gilly suit .

We scatter out of the way of this madman, and cannot enjoy tai chi on trail anymore. W.A. is crazy with these racist cyclers!

The OP was complaing that he couldn't do 40km/h around what he describes as a BLIND corner. I suggest that you reread the original post.

In any sensible cyclists' langauge, that is plain stupid, irrespective of whatever is around the same BLIND corner.


He says that his grandparents hate Japanese people. He says that his father hates Vietnamese people. He calls a group of asians "ricefarters", mock's accented english in multiple posts, and you think other people describing that as evidence of racism is offensive?
