You know how Ed is always busting everyone's balls about how his postings get massive page views? As at 9:22 eastern on June 24, status is as follows:
Clueless in Rio de Janeiro & Ottawa - 27 views For Sale The New Nokia N95....$260 - 61 views Good job, Ed: with a little more clicking, you'll catch up & pass a spam-thread. Dickwad. |

Of course the "Clueless" thread was started three days ago, the other one was started 90 days ago. But who cares. I’m sure in your mind that’s the same thing.
If you want to see a real difference to the the Pedalmag.com web forum. While I posted there it had thousands of views and hundreds of post each WEEK. Now it get one post A MONTH! Anyway, if I have God's attention, that's all I need. Thanks for reading. I assume you are pleased with fewer events in Canada, fewer teams, less sponsorship? You were happy to see the CCA have to let go two coaches and fire three staffer because it lost over 30% of its revenue in one year, dropping from $2.7 million to $1.7 million? It doesn't worry you that the CCA Director of High Performance doesn't know where the points are that his athletes and the country need? That was the point of the "Clueless" thread. You must think the CCA is doing a great job. Therefore your opinion means shit! |

You dare question me?! I am the alpha and omega, I drove the Israelites out of Egypt, laid plagues on the pharoah, induced the men of Soddom to get randy about the hot-looking foreigners.
I still say you are less interesting to the forum than a sweet deal on a Nokia phone. Truth be told, the multitudes tune into forums to see you get pounded, not for the sanity of your opinions. I know this. I'm omniscient, remember? Good night, Ed. I will hear your prayers. They're sick, and I can do nothing about them, but I will hear them. It's my job. |

By the way, douchebag, this thread started yesterday and it's at 40 views, 10 more than "Clueless," at 8AM Eastern on Monday.

And finally, if you think Kris Westwood doesn't know cycling then you're certifiable crazy. He's forgotten more about international cycling than you've known.

Dear God (which God would you be BTW?, Buddha? Zeus? Jah? Vishnu, Brahman? Just so I know whom I'm dealing with...)
Let me tell you a little about Kris Westwood. I've known him for a long time. I raced against Westwood myself way, way back. I hired him to race for me with Evian. We all had a nickname for him then and it was AnnoyingMan, for various reasons. While at Hamilton 2003 I was asked by Hutsebaut to see if I could get Westwood to provide Norm Miller (Director of Communications) with some assistance because Miller could not speak or read or write French and Miller did not know anything about cycling. So I brought this up with Norm Miller and with Neil Lumsden. I suggested Westwood would be a good person to hire you help them out. For my efforts I was called into Lumsden office and told, "to mine my owning fuckin' business, they would hire whom they wanted". So I know a little something about Westwood. Lately I have heard rumblings about Westwood form coaches and administrators of certain CCA projects and some training centres. If you read the bull Westwood just tried to pas off as an explanation it is laughable. Some of his earlier attempts at sugarcoating huge CCA failure have also been laughable. So, as people go, Westwood does know his stuff but he can use some criticism from time to time. He could also use some leadership and guidnace but he is not going to get that from Lorraine Lafreniere, his immediate boss at the CCA nor from Bill Kinash who still seems to be pulling strings. I hope Blanchard is offering some leadership to Westwood but at this time, who knows. No doubt Kris Westwood is frustrated at working for people who know nothing about the sport (Lacelle and now Lafreniere). He must not like having his budget slashed But he has gone along with this fiasco instead of speaking out, so he has nobody to blame but himslef. You sleep with dogs you get fleas. |

Which God? You believe there are several? I should strike you down, but who'd clean up the mess.
Interesting analysis, which as usual places you at the center of everything. Your hubris offends me, but I expect no less. I created both good and bad, straight and twisted. When I molded Kris from dust and blew life into his lungs, I was having a pretty good day, frankly. That a bunch of cyclists, led by you, would call him annoying makes not a shit of difference to me: I might have given them more lung, but I gave him more brain. As for you, when the time came to blow life into you I was a little blown on tequila and I held you up to my butt and farted into you instead. For those of you who tune in here digging Ed's flameout act, yes, it explains a lot. You've been spewing foul ever since. As far as "speaking out" versus trying to do something positive, it just shows the part you don't get. Only you "speak out," and it's because you've decided to never again do anything positive for anyone. Kris is trying to take something that's broke and make it work. You just keep ripping off the band-aid and saying "look! open sores!" Which doesn't help anyone. |

Dear God,
You have screwed up again. At this point Kris Westwood is no longer fixing things or even trying. He has become part of the problem. Ask around. Somewhere along the line the same thing happenned to Lister Farrar. Even Brett Stewart, who is a nice guy, he sat in silence for years and still does, taking his paycheck rather than doing what's right. That's one of the problems. Everybody involved sits silently while the CCA goes to hell (your basement) in a handbag because they are all leeching something off it? Guys with balls, guys with character like Van den Eynde and others have walked away or they refuse to work wiht the CCA. At least that is better than sitting compliant and watching the whole thing sink. Rob Jones, Lister, Kris and others who should know better do nothing. I won't walk away. I will not sit silently. I'll bring the whole goddamn thing down if I have to and start it over. That is how broken it is. |

Guys with character like Van de Eynde? Are you kidding me? Maybe YOU better ask around. Fine judge of horse-flesh that guy is: he suggested his wife hire Eric Wohlberg to ride SUPPORT for Jacques Landry! Do you think he got that right? You know what chou-chou means in French? I'm sure you do, your family goes back 10,000 years, pure-laine, tabarnac, etc.
Leeching like Brett, Kris and Lister? Man, we could use more leeches like that. Ed, you're the one who fattened at the buffet that was Canadian cycling. Lister would be bunking with friends to run Canada Cup races while you slept in four-star hotels and bitched about the poor service. Kris hauled ass for everyone, CC Outaouais, Magicuts, always making the right move before you extended a hand for him to join your fading silly-ass Reynolds team that had never generated half the results your budget would have justified, and never would. Always an excuse. Stieda was at the end of his career when Czeslaw and Kober beat him up the hill for the win in Quebec City. Yvan was long in the tooth when Czes nailed him in Beauce. And your money got Colin on the TTT when everyone with half a brain knew Blair Saunders was kicking ass left right and center. Steve Rover became a real pro when he left your team, but you developed him, right? Right. Was it your money he used to buy Quebec-Montreal before the commies screwed it up? Or was it someone else's? You still think I don't know the game? Ed Arzouian: douchebag. 100+ hits and counting, while your dumbass Brazil thread gets 30 hits. So now you know what people tune in here for: Ed Arzouian being exposed for the moron he is. You're a freak show Ed, people paying their nickel to see the mental midget get tortured by the fat lay. |

Kris, next time do not come up with such a lame as excuse and you will not get criticized.
As for the hits here, who really cares, are you forgetting the extensive emailing list. It makes it ways to many, many people. |

Well, you're the one who's always bragging how many pageviews your silly threads get, aren't you Ed? And no, I'm not forgetting about your extensive spam list. I'm on it every now and then. I'm also one of the people you tend to refer to as a friend, a big supporter of your views. You should think again. It would be better if you just walked from cycling and focused on whatever it is you're doing now.

Ah, another two-faced hypocrite.
That explains it. I will not walk away from cycling. Time is on my side. Each and every mistake and poor decision made by The Canadian Cycling Association proves me correct. All the lies and bullshit they spread comes back to bite them in the ass. Remember how only two years ago we were being told how all the policies and procedures were in place to ensure the financial soundness of the organization, how it was poised to grow in leaps and bounds??? Look at it now, a loss of over $1, 000,000 in revenue in a year (over 30%) bringing them to a measly $1.7 million, a third-rate sport now when it used to one of the highest on Sport Canada's list. The resignation of the COO, the hiring of another inexperienced director with no knowledge of the sport, the firing of the marketing coordinator who did absolutely nothing in two years (exactly as I expected) , the firing of two coaches, the departure of another. Yellow tape should go up around the CCA and is shod be declared a disaster zone. It is now a joke. Wait until next year and the Olympics, it will be so bad people won’t know where to hide anymore. |

That's where you're wrong, but who cares. In an Olympic year, revenue (since that seems to be the only stat you give a crap about) will be way up, courtesy Sport Canada. And when was cycling high on Sport Canada's list?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying things are going well, but you're certainly not contributing anything to making it better. The opposite. So keep crapping on people if you want, but you're not being constructive in the least. Quote:

Revenue is certainly not the only criteria I care about.
Use any criteria you would like, results, media attention, number of riders, number of events, number of teams, anything, all the indicators are bad. Next year the increase in revenue will be to get athletes to the Games and since we wil not qualify many athletes few will go. My big point about next year is that the results will be worse than dismal. It will probably be the first time in 30 or 40 years that Canada wil not get a medal in any cycling discipline (BMX, I really do not care about, it is the further marginalization of the sport, like dirt oval racing compared to F1). I will continue to crap on people because there is no helping them and they deserve nothing better for ruining a sport I spent 34 years working to improve. They are beyond help. Bill Kinash has almost single-handedly, maybe purposely given how stupid some of the mistakes have been, killed the sport of cycling in Canada. It looks like Pierre Blanchard is following Kinash's lead in tanking the sport as well. Lorraine Lafrenière will be as lost a cause as was Steve Lacelle. Lacelle, Sebrango, Lafrenière SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEN HIRED TO RUN THE SPORT AS THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT. Ask anybody, they wil say it makes no sense to have the people running the sport to have zero experience in it. In some cases to have zero experience in ANY KIND OF COMPETITION or sports organization. RUNNING A COACHES ASSOCIATION, AS LAFRENIÈRE DID, IS NOT RUNNING A SPORT. She, like Lacelle and Sebrango, is an insult to the sport. People who work with them are betraying the sport. Think of the collaborators who worked with the Vichy government in WWII, they hanged some them didn’t they? Tar and feathers would suffice in this case. |

Damn, buddy, ease off on the drink. That's a pretty disheveled looking post. Have a cup of coffee.
Bill Kinash killed cycling on purpose. Sure. Pierre Blanchard following his lead?! I thought he was your boy! Everyone is an insult to the sport except for you, Ed. But you've killed the goose. Nighty night. 200 hits and counting. People tune in to see you get slammed. Must feel good. |
