Yes, your thread has provided me with an excellent vehicle to get my message out when things had been waning. Thank you.
I would add in regard to this lack of respect for riders, not only did former CCA President Bil Kinash not only snub Olympic Gold Medal winner Lori Ann Meunzer, this group at the CCA and in the provinces is the same one that voted Olympian and Worlds medalist Curt Harnet off and out of a CCA Committee. How stupid and insulting a move was that????? That's what you want to me doing to promote your sport, kick out the most recognizable name in it! And then they would why that cannot market it. Idiots.... Quote:

Come on.....despite his rather rude and overbearing approach, you have to admit Ed has some good points to make.

No, I do not admit that. He is a douchebag. Demolition always requires less skill than construction. |

Ahh, but you ignore all the things that I have created, best team in Canadian history, reviving a Road World Cup when nobody wanted to do it, organizing a national championship and a Road World championship. I had most of my work done in Hamilton two months before deadline.
Furthermore, I have provided loads of suggestions to improve things, from re-instating the National Criterium Championships to merchandise sales of National Team stuff (remember there was big opposition to that before) to moving the CCA office out of Ottawa and to near to the Forest City Velodrome. |

The big problem I would see with moving the HQ is ...who wants to approve a corporate change that will require them to quit their job? Most of the employees probably like Ottawa and have a spouse who works there. So they will not want to move and most would likely quit before moving to London. |

There are vey few employees to begin with. If they moved there once for the job they can move again. Most of them should quit anyway. It would be a good thing.
They are paying $52,000 a year for the shithole they now call an office. It is a uselesss suite of crowded offices, completely impractical. There is not even a bike stand to lock a bike up there. There is no storage for equipment. Where does Ski Canada have their offices? Alberta. Where does Rowing Canada have their offices? Victoria, BC |
