Here are my latest rides. I mostly ride the Gios as a fast rec. rider with aspirations toward racing (campy equipped). The Raleigh is my rain/touring bike. Bike is a solid machine that I took on a 4000k tour through europe last year. good times on both.

The most beautiful bike in Amsterdam
A Ger(actually a Ridley Pegasus), custom painted to our design (me and my gf). It's inspired by a Serrotta I saw.
Group: Chorus 2004 (I love that new crank, straight out of the 2003 Record)

Training Wheels: Mavic CPX33 + Chorus hub + 32 DB Black Sapim spokes

Competition Wheels: Ksyrium or Eurus, dunno yet. Let's see what the financial status is next spring before I decide.

Misc: Aspide saddle, Bombshell Carbo stem, Deda magic Stem+Bar

Look PP396 red/black/yellow (chosen over A5.1 because of the color, HEH)

Hey really nice bike. I'm awaiting a custom Ridley Icarus in ROSSO red colour. I'll shall be dressing her in Record 2004 with a Deda Newton stem and handle bar. The Mavic CXP33 is an excellent Rim and Sapim Spokes r awesome!

Hopefully will be posting my pics soon! Cant wait!

So far, I love it - only have ~40 miles on it, though. It just felt "right" when I test-rode several bikes at my LBS - even ones 50-60% more expensive. The research I did online reinforced that the BA was a good choice for me at that pricepoint, given its frame geometry and my torso. I've not discovered anything yet to make me feel otherwise.

I am sorry I have to say this, but you asked for an opinion:

-> I think BMC bicycles are ugly

I'm sure a lot of people will disagree, tastes differ (and thats a good thing)

*Awwww.... meanie*

It's even Metallic red

It is loosely based on a Serrotta I saw. Perhaps noone dared to say it to me, but most people think it looks pretty cool

Tastes differ!

The big plus for me is that my bike is pretty unique. Noone else has a Ger (oh call it Ridley if you want, lol) with this paint-job

-> And yup, uniqueness is one of the great things of those BMC's. They are unique. I am sure if I saw one in real life I would be milder.
