![]() are you around the Columbus area? I have to say though, although the boys may be starrin at your butt sometimes, its not ALL we're watching when you ride. I need to find a better way to phrase that... not good lol

Funny. Yeah, I know, you're watching our gearing and cadence and such too because you're so afraid of being one up'd. Check your PMs. |

Hey, just trying to not get dropped right? Concentrating on the uh... wheel ahead of me and trying to keep up!

This is where we differ as a species. None of my female riding friends nor I think that men look good in lycra. Though, I have met some women on the cycling forums that seem to have a thing for the boys in lycra. Now, don't get me wrong. There are plenty of good looking men that ride bikes, but the whole lycra get up ain't doin' a thing for ya! In stark contrast, men seem to like just about any woman in lycra; different standards shall we say? Quote:
Well, there were no more flats after I dropped off the front for good, so what does that tell us? And, for the record, not a single flat was my own. ![]() |

Seems different females have different opinions on males and cycling. Couple of threads from a girly fitness forum

I have no problem riding with the ladies as long as they can keep up. Concerning the attractiveness of people in Lycra or Spandex clothing, it pretty much depends upon the shape of the person in the clothing. That's just my 2 cents!

Yes, there's definitely room for debate on the subject. And, well, we were talking about eye candy and my only point is that the lycra itself isn't a chick magnet, in my circles anyway. That's not to say that the person inside the lycra may not be attractive. Just the get up itself. For instance. I might think Matthew McC is hot. But, Matthew McC in lycra? Nope, not doing a thing for me. ![]() |

![]() So thats why you took up cycling? Jokes aside, its lucky for us boys that you girls have different tastes, otherwise all of the girls would be chasing 1% of the boys. Back to the topic, my cycle club in Sydney is a small one with only a few female members. The fastest female rider is 41 years old and blows off her own partner, but he's getting faster and should bridge the gap in 6 months or so. It's always a pleasure to ride with them. |

Thanks for proving my point. But, I told you that doesn't mean cycling boys don't look great outta kit. Don't misunderstand me. Heck, Patrick Dempsey doesn't look great in lycra either . . . . . it's not you per se, it's the friggin' lycra. Which is why most of us girls don't want to be caught dead in it while off the bike. The giant diaper for padding might have something to do with it too.Now that the horse is dead, I will add that I absolutely love riding with the boys. It's a lot more fun and exciting than simply riding with the girls. They're great and I wouldn't trade them for the world. We have a blast! |

It's even better when a girl comes the other way on an MUP, with her hands in the drops. If your lucky, you can get quite a view.

I find ladies in Downhill Garb very sexy. Don't know what it is, maybe just the "hang with the boys" attitude.
Nice. Girls on bikes are cool. Period.
