LOL Lim - that's about the most anti-social and sarcastic piece of humor I've ever heard from your keyboard. Looks like our hono(u)rable Mod is catching on to the CF-GT way of sardonic expression. And I thought you had some sort of relationship with those DPF mod guys? Lim est le roi. Vive la Lim!!!!

I wonder if anyone actually bet on Voekler to win. My long shot pick isn't even listed. Maybe I could get 300:1. I would place Leipheimer above Menchov.

Since I'm not putting any money down, I'll say... Valverde.
2009 winner: Basso |

I bet that Basso is not allowed to ride the TdF until he is no longer a contender--maybe not even then.

I would be willing to bet that Astana and Valverde will not even start. I agree with Bro. Cunego is on my short list. My pick is Andy Schleck. I also think Karpets is a podium contender.

You guys should start betting then. Cunego is considered a longer shot than 200 to 1 according to this list. Unless he's such a sure thing that they're not taking bets on him.

I forgot about Soler. I hope he pulls a Rasmussen and practices his time trialing. It would be tres cool to see him in the mix at the top.

Perhaps they're worried if they put him up there, it might encourage some Columbian drug lord to fix the race. Remember that Columbian soccer player who scored an own-goal at the World Cup in the nineties and caused Columbia to lose a quarter-final, if my memory's correct. He was shot in a carpark after the tournament.

I'll give you 500 to 1 on that.

money's on menchov. given all the turmoil among the teams, rabo seems to have come through with their team pretty much in one piece. at least until the next doping scandal.
