I just went on to the apple store. For video you are gonna want the 2 Ghz with the upgrade to 2gb memorey. Total price came to 949.00. That would work fine for FC but can still get kinda slow. You wouldnt want to be working with any less power than that. Not that you couldnt, but if you are going to be buying a new setup you should be aiming for atleast that or better. -- agentQ *)--SmallSpin-'O,* *)---TreFlip-'O, 'Uneed Films' (http://www.uneedfilms.com) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ agentQ's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/13021 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/66735 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

I love my mac mini, it's not an intel mac mini but it still runs everything I need it to run and runs it well.... as long as I don't over-fill the hard drive.... then it gets sluggish, but all it takes is a good cleaning and it's running better than ever. -- Ducttape '-*buy my shirts*-' (http://www.zazzle.com/ducttapesunicycle/products) '*watch my videos*' (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=ducttapesunicycle) '*uniman comics*' (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53444) '*original thread for uniman*' (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49862) *'sigged quotes' (http://tinyurl.com/29b744)* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ducttape's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/12006 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/66735 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

how do you make a multi screen display like this w/o buying a pre-made setup. i have looked but couldn't find a cable thing that would make it work this. for example(if i bought a new lcd monitor but kept my old crt and got a cable so i could use the simultaneously and drag things from one screen to the other) or would i HAVE to get a pre made one. and also, if there is a cable, would i need multiple graphics/video cards. thanks for any help [image: http://www.maxivista.com/pics/testi...idak_setup.jpg] edit: oops...forgot pic ![]() -- oneisenough Plaeze x-cuze mi spelin' (If its wrong) ![]() The UniSLAB wrote: > Go big or go home, don worry about those little clown tricks called > flips and wrap arounds. You'll probably either need a new better video card, or another additional video card, not quite sure how it works. -- Ducttape '-*buy my shirts*-' (http://www.zazzle.com/ducttapesunicycle/products) '*watch my videos*' (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=ducttapesunicycle) '*uniman comics*' (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53444) '*original thread for uniman*' (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49862) *'sigged quotes' (http://tinyurl.com/29b744)* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ducttape's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/12006 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/66735 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

ok, i'm looking for a decent video camera, for low cost (wow... isn't everyone?) because my dads canon (4 mega-pixel) just doesnt cut it unless its being held *very still* (something most teenagers fail miserably at) then its blurry and pixely when you playback. so, i live in aus, to all those camera boffins out there, where can i get a decent video camera at minimal cost (lets say... $300-$400, price is proportional to skill for me, so when I'm better, i will probably consider something better) -- mcnuggets300 'The Zeppelin Dominion' 'My Trials Vid' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlAwk_BmGEY) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mcnuggets300's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/14980 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/66735 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |
