Apologies to dragging this discussion, but this is where miscommunication happens. The sarcasm may seem to be transparent, but another person may interpret it as being poked fun at and being insulted; using emoticons can potentially reduce this sort of miscommunication; just my opinion.

His response was very immature... This is forum... Not an eye to eye discussion (you must admit, situation creates communication discourse). Do I have to measure every word in my reply if we've seen all sorts of nastiness on this forum.
And, I must ask you, why are you defending his rudeness?

Cranky,
Thank you so much, I knew it wasn't right, but I couldn't pull fairy out of anywhere in my head!!! It really was frustrating.

Adjrija,
You insinuated that I was a child in my thinking. I responded in the manner in which I saw fit. If you need to see me as childish or immature to sleep at night, go right ahead. You threw a jab, and I threw an uppercut. Maybe if you don't like getting punched hard, you shouldn't start the fight. Think what you will, our two actions are identical in their intent. We both wanted to expose the other as somehow being less than with our comments. I don't play the "you hit too hard, therefore you are more wrong game." I believe intent is what matters, and yours and mine were identical.

As to Simoni, nothing you say will change that I like him.

I guess more correctly, I should have written: "I do believe in the go fuck yourself fairy, does that count?

Would that have been more appropriate in addressing Andrija?

This was not addressed at you Dark or anything you have said. I just posted off of your post but am not making that comment at you.

So in summation:

TFF is a grown up
Andrija is a nice lady
Simoni is loved and hated
We still don't know if Basso should get amnesty

But I don't think guys should use smilies. Makes them look a bit gay...

I apologoze if I offended you.

No man, this is a group sarcasm...
This thread evolved in one big sitcom with elements of satire.

Boy, what a day! First a resurgence of fights, both here and in that other thread with DoctorSpoc, and then people actually apologizing and patching up!
