Bro they banned me, and I ain't getting any proxy IP. Not worth the trouble. They also deleted two of the threads I started. I started a Let Tyler Ride petition, they did not want to hear it. |

I can still see some of my posts. I don't know if all of them are there. Future trolling will have to be more subtle.

I think Disco Bro has a ring to it, and melds nicely with your Broman image... Aqua Bro might work more subtly as well. Seriously Bro, what were you thinking when you came up with Undercover Bro?... Were you trying to go for the record for minimum posts before being banned?.. ![]()

It wasn't exactly supposed to be a secret. I figured that I wouldn't post anything really obnoxious, just challenge a few beliefs; and I didn't post anything that I thought was anywhere near a reasonable line in the sand. They are nutters over there. It may be the last bastion of true believers, the ones who have ignored the doping scandals of the last few years. The stupidity is amazing.

That these chicken shitters cannot stand Slipsteam makes me like the team all the more:
That's true, Slipsteam is hailed as the "New American clean Team", yet they have a British convicted doper owning/captaining the team.. I'm all for second chances, everyone deserves one, IMO. But to rant about about a clean team ala Slipstream when both owners have doped in the past is just ridiculous. But the press clearly bought it, and Millar talking in the press conference how RR should play by the rules and leave the doped(?innocent until proven guilty, not convicted like I was) athletes out of the race just made me mad. How can he, of all people, say something like that??? He played the system, he knows how it works... Mad cycling world, a circus more likely than a top sport... As you can see, I'm tired and in a very bad mood.

I still don't understand how you get banned from any site? It's not like you are obnoxious or anything. You just talk cycling and its pretty well researched... ![]()

The Paceline answers why a Disco fan = Astana fan. They have a thread on it.
" If you were a Discovery Channel fan last year, does that automatically make you an Astana fan now? " " Yes. It does. More to the point...I am a Johan Bruyneel fan. " "I agree with Juls! It is the trickle down theory. Starts at the top, classiness and quiet dignity will reap rewards!" " Yuppers! Me responded to that yesterday I'm still amazed at "them" that are amazed not all US cycle crazies just didn't fall in line with Slipstream -- sorry, I don't all of the sudden consider them "America's team" .. I like some of the cyclist and support them ... but there are actually other continental (US) teams, I like better. Sooooo..... Disco Fan = Astana Fan ... in my case!" "I am sooooooooooooo excited we have Horner!!! He is bad-a**!! And hilarious. He is a work horse in the mountains and his work ethic is superb! I think Johan put together an excellent team. We have some great sprinters (which we never really had before), we have a strong Classics contingent, and we have the best Tour de France line-up. Now, if we can only get an invite to some races we should be good to go!" "I would follow JB to whatever team he went to and the fact that he took a core group of Disco riders and staff sealed the deal. And to repeat what others have said, these guys plus the stong riders who remained at Astana (Kloden, Colom, etc) and adding Horner will make this one of the strongest teams in any race they enter. This being said I don't think Disco Fan=Astana Fan. That statement suggests a herd mentality, I chose to follow JB to Astana but I will also support others teams where Disco riders have transferred. Each fan should make their own decision on what team or teams to support. Ditto to Char's statement on Slipstream. They are not America's team, have proven nothing, and need to prove themselves on the road and not with their words. There is an arrogance surrounding the team that has totally turned me off. In the beginning I planned to support Slipstream, but no more. Hope the TdF organizers realize this. Prudhomme said they wanted American teams in the race, but SLIPSTREAM IS NOT AMERICA'S TEAM." " In this case, yes! Disco fan=Astana fan=Cycling sport fan" " In this case, definetly yes!!! We'll hang in there no matter what they throw at us!!! Hard core Disco=Astana fan" "There seems to be a recurring theme here. Maybe we should say does JB fan=Astana fan. Would we all be so supportive of Astana if JB had decided to stay retired? What if there had just been a group of Disco riders that transferred to Astana? Would our support be as strong? My answer would be probably not." "That is a tough question. Late last year, I though about what the sport would be like without Johan. I didn't think too much on it because I didn't like the feeling and I knew I wouldn't have to deal with that for 3 years. But, if I had to deal with it, who would I follow. Astana. Levi, Horner, Contador, CHECHU!!, Jani, and ll of the boys. I mean, they are still my team. Now, what if the boys went to Astana, and Johan went to another ProTour team. Geesh. I would have to support them both. Wow, this is way to much thinking for me. I'll have to come back to this." [Bro edit: I think we have found Johann's gay lover here.} "No, because quite a few fans wanted to support an American team. Other fans did not want to support a team that had had doping problems. Me, I go along with Juls. t I have faith in and respect for JB and I think we will see Astana rise to be the best like Disco. JB is outstanding. He has a knack of putting both young and experienced riders together to make a winning combination. He never quits that's why I support the New Astana." "I follow those I admire and respect as cyclists and wonderful human beings. In JB, we put our trust to make those stars shine. What more can I say "I am a huge fan of Johan how managed to take a team that has been having drug problems and turning Astana into a first class team. Thats what I am most impressed with. " "Lance fan, led to USPS/Disco Fan, led to Johan fan, which is now the base of my fanship. I believe he is a cycling genious and has a system in place that leads to excellence. Love that he brought the core rider from Disco and the core staff. Good people plus good system. Long answer to say, yes this Disco fan became an Astana fan, but it wasn't a blind transfer of allegiance. " "Started out as Postal/Lance fan. Became fascinated with the tactics of Lance and Johan and then fell completely in love with the sport of road racing. Ended up getting a new bike and riding all the time. I am a fan of several different cylists on different teams and I revel in the sprint finishes and mountain climbs of all cyclists. They inspire me to do more. As for Astana - I am excited to see the support given to them by the owners, Johan and the staff. I can't wait to see the transformation and the looks on the doubters' faces when this team succeeds. " " DSC fan = ASTANA fan forever!"

That's the same convoluted "logic" which Musette used to use, here.
Is she posting over there under another identity?

He took the core staff too, eh? And they're a 'clean team'? What a joke these so called 'fans' are - Bruyneel a 'cycling genius'? The Hog's only genius is using the best doctor's so his riders don't get caught. His tactics have never been up to much - the only 'tactic' is buy up any rider whose a threat in the mountains and employ the best dope doctors. |

. And in the TT's he was able to bend that laterally to Lance with chants of "Go Lance!!... Go Lance!!... Keep going Lance!!". His role was irreplaceable... ![]()

Yes, I agree, we all need a program guide. However (dear TFF ), we should stop posting them on the public waves. Send them around the PM circuit instead. You can copy up to 5 people on a PM at a time. Cranky, you're with me on this one, right? I mean, I don't want to tell y'all how to do your devious work or anything, but I'm just sayin' . . . you'd prob'ly get more mileage that way. ![]() Last edited by C'dale Girl : 19-02.-2008 at 11:57 AM. |
