That's bull. The sponsors aren't going to go around handing out dope. And they aren't going to fork up 400,000 Euro for a first class anti-doping program is they want their cyclists to dope.

Less than half a million euros out of a 17 million euro budget is sod all for an effective smokescreen. And Bruyneel took his usual medical staff with him from Disco.

The sponsors attitude to doping was signalled loud and clear by the attitude to Vino's positives. The smokescreen anti doping programme proves nothing - the hiring of Bruyneel, his medical staff and the association to Ferrari is priceless.

So Saiz and Virenque appeal to the UCI and what does the UCI do ? Forces ASO to let them in the race ! We know all about Saiz so why should ASO listen to the UCI and why should they let the dirtiest team in 07 into the race ? Its simple mathematics.
What do I care about Festina, TVM, and ONCE. What do I care if the UCI was right or wrong on those issues. Has nothing to do with the Astana case. What any simpleton can see is that this team is Disco. It has all of Disco's best riders. They are the core of the team. They have no positive tests against them; and neither does their team manager. Kicking out Astana does zero to reduce the chance of a positive test at the 2008 Tour. You also know that as well as I do. Your only reason for arguing against it is because you are a bigot. ...............................moderated.

Another moronic remark. The people who are being paid those 400,000 are going to do their best to test and catch any doping riders. So it doesn't matter what your opinion is about Bruyneel and the sponsors. The program will have it's effect. And if the sponsors and Bruyneel wanted dopers, they wouldn't put such an effective road block in their own way. You would also have to make the same argument for all of the other teams that have doped in the past and implemented the same kinds of programs - which is most of them.

All of this is beside the point. No Bruyneel team has tested positive. And there is no evidence of any kind that throwing Astana out of the Tour will lower the odds of someone testing positive there. In fact, Menchov will win, and Menchov will be doped.

Do you believe that DISCATANA would have been on TDF with no anti-doping program ? Have you read the current rules which require a anti-doping program for every team.

You have understood nothing.

DISCATANA is barred because everyone in cycling know theyr dope and DISCO brokes the agreement between team last year, and the bad record of ASTANA. and the dubious kazak president.

I understand that the French cannot win anything these days and they are trying to blame all of their failures on the Americans. Face the truth poulidor - the French teams and the French riders suck. And it has nothing to do with the Americans.

DISCO is the only to have a rider who can fill a book with his doping cases!

Could you explain the use of a cream which is the worst medecine for the alleged wound ? Why was the TUE backdated? Why Armstrong gave money to UCI ? Where is the money?

Flo-Jo has a clean official record too.

The Americans sucks they have been able to vote for Bush 2 times ! At least half of them have a half brain!

ah, the "but it wasn't an official positive!" Sorry, but finding EPO in six samples of piss means the rider was using EPO. Don't really care whether or not it was an "official" positive or not.

Tambo, lisen me, you foolish fanboy…

Italiano always know what he say: All, every DS in bici sport know Bruyneel is doping super fox.

Yesterday, Tinkoff , owner tinkoff squad, sayd to one reporter, my friend: “while old guardia as Riis and Bruyneel stay in sport no order will be”

This 100% true. Give papers few days to quote me.

Tambourlain certainly does enjoy the sound of his own voice - what is it they say? Empty vessels make the most noise?

I particularly enjoyed the bigot comment, followed as it was by a flagrant piece of ill informed francophobia. Perhaps Tambourlain would enjoy reading the FFC on their countrywide anti doping initiatives that have been in place since Festina, rather than some spit in the wind smokescreen that Bruyneel is forced to have.

It's sad about Flo-Jo. She paid for her doping in the biggest way, with her life.

RE politics Bush sucks but the choices in 2000 and 2004 running against him were worse, believe it or not.

Bumper stickers in the U.S. read 1/20/2009: The end of an error. Makes me laugh.

No it doesn't mean squat. They can't trace the handling, who had the sample, who had access to the samples, where they were kept. And the test proceedures themselves were not followed. The samples would have been better handled and tested by first year chemistry students. The standards are in place for a reason - and that is to insure no mistakes are made and no tampering is done. With the handling of those samples, you cannot make either statement. The results are 100% meaningless, except ..............................moderated
