Who wins the Tour now?
Evans has got to be a favorite but is he THE favorite? The course this year is very interesting.
Sastre will have the best team, but he finished far behind the top three last year. A while back I picked Cunego as having a decent shot, based in part on the belief that Astana would get excluded.

Wouldn't it be fun to see Simoni make a run at it.
Are there going to be any teams that could control the race? Somebody like Soler could escape and never get caught.

Bet will be difficult because the field would be cleaner than never.... we would see some big bonks.
How would be the old top ten without blood doping ? Or who would use doping on TDF? The temptation become greater with less dopers! |

I predict Tommy D. will be in the top ten.
I would like to see a good performance by Gadret. He was doing very well in the Giro before crashing. Soler, if he is there, might be tired from the Giro.

After following him in Mountain Biking and now the Tour, I would like to see Evans win it. Plus I would like to see an Aussie win, they are great competitors.
But I think Sastre has a real shot at this one. It seems no one is cutting Astana any slack at all, despite the efforts the team has put in place to clean up. Doesn't that account for anything? |

Frank only tted well with the juice, now they are cleaner, he will be able to defend somewhat in Tour of Romandie etc. |
