He'll be under a different medical program. Expect a decrease in performance.

I hope evans will win, but I think Rodgers will be a serious threat as he has better support. Evans could have won the last two years if he'd had the support the eventual winners had. And if everyone was dope free he'd be probably be top 2 or 3 riders around in terms of talent and ability, if not the best rider. If anyone isn't dopeing I believe he'd be it, he has off days, where as some of these other riders dont |

no, Evans was following wheels. Evans has to either bomb both tts and get 4 minutes on rivals, then he can justly follow wheels, but if he just gets a few seconds, and then the climbers break him on the mtn finishes, I do not know how you can make a case for him winning. |

It'd be good for an Aussie to win. Without Astana both are a good chance of a podium |

Say what. Sastra cannot TT as well as Evans. Last year he couldn't climb as well either. I don't see Frank Schleck beating Evans, and Andy will be concentrating on the Giro, won't he? The Giro is not the Tour; there are lots of riders who do well in the Giro but are no where in the TdF. Let's see Andy prove himself there before picking him to destroy a proven performer like Evans.

Frankly, I just hope it is a good race. I hope the yellow jersey cracks a few times and there is some suspense. No more of this superhuman shit day after day.

Maybe he's just pissed because the only TdF classification british riders might win is the race for the laterne rouge. Even that might be out of reach.

Yep, me too. I want to see a race where no team can control all of the attacks, and the leader actually has to shit or get off the pot kind of racing. The days of a dope train taking the leader to the last 5K of the mountain top finish are over hopefully. And I don't want to see anyone over 5'8" winning a real mountain stage again.

I think teams should be reduced to six or seven riders. The doping has enabled teams to be stronger than they were in the past. With fewer riders, no team could control the race. Plus it would solve the wildcard/ProTour issue.

I'd just be happy if it looked like the ultimate physical challenge for cyclists. Not a well-oiled training ride.
