I thought the same thing, at first. But, it is more likely an official stencil in each lane to warn of a Pedestrian crossing up ahead. California is on steriods over pedestrian crossings and laws concerning them. |

The luxury of having 2 sprinters, everyone thought Cavendish was leading out Ciolek, but Ciiolek let the gap open up and that's when Cavendish went for the line. Then I though, "they tried that way the hell too early!" So what was it, on purpose or an accident? He almost won the stage, just didn't have quite enough. |
