With the price they ask for their bikes it shouldn't take long to get enough people for a club!

I got in 23 miles this morning and she rode better than I had hoped for! Was planning on going a bit further but got forced off the road by a dump truck and hit a sharp little rock...punctured my tire for an immediate flat. Took a bit to repair so my ride had to be cut short. Oh well!

Well that is the only thing that still bugs me in the US although awareness is getting better, there are still plenty of morons abound who have no clue where it comes to cyclist. Well my wife's and mine will arrive this Friday and i will however have to wait until the weekend of October 21st before I get to see and assemble it. Will be in Long Beach, CA the next 2 weekends. Oh well at least I will see Roger Waters in Concert on the 6th and do the Tour of Long Beach on the 14th.

I just ordered the Knight for my birthday on Sunday. It will be here on Friday. I can't wait. Everyone that OWNS one seem to be very happy so I just went for it. Now I just wish it was Friday.

Indeed it is they were ever so apologetic about the size being unavailable, they provided a series of alternatives and now I wouldn't mind hearing what others think of the Motobecane Sprintour, it seems like a very good deal, considering I have at looked many store offerings and they don't come close to what bikesdirect offer, oh yes you do get all the excuses like "oh well what about servicing etc". Guess what, having seen some of the yahoo's in action that were supposedly experts, I think I can do a better job myself. BTW having read some of the snobbish comments on here about Taiwan, it is funny how most frames seem to be made there for renowned brands.

Yeah I love this town!!! Got my bike on Friday and put it together last night, it is great!!!! I needed to replace the seat binder as the one it came with striped the threads after a few turns. I am going to try and take it for a ride tomorrow. For $800 with Ultegra, carbon, killer wheels how can anyone go wrong? Perfect fit and smooth ride. What a nice first bike!

I has a Ritchey 300mm seat post, Ritchey ERGO bars, Ritchey QR hubs, RitcheyDS Pro wheels, an Velo saddle. I have gone on several rides and have had zero problems. I am very happy with the bike. The welds look good on the frame and it has good components.

Oh yeah...I paid $1180.00.

My experience with them was fine...got my bike ('07 Windsor Knight) quickly, have taken it on a few 50k rides, very happy with the bike. Just wish my school schedule wasn't so hectic so I could get out on more rides!

Got a Motobecane VentNoir on Ebay for around $650 August 2005 and it has been amazing !!! Would recommend anyone who is looking for a great deal on a first roadbike to check out either bikesdirect.com or this Ebay seller where I got mine::

My Windsor Knight is doing great!!! I have taken it out for about 100 miles and I love it. I wish I could have bought it 3 months sooner so I could have rode it more before the weather got so cold here. I would buy from them again.
