My Fellow Americans (and others),

Due to the unfortunate controversy that has arisen over my original post, I feel it is my duty to clarify my position once and for all so that we may put this behind us, like a bicycle seat.

Yes, it was a satire, triggered by some other recent posts.

No, it was not meant to ridicule any particular foreigner's attempt at English. It was merely intended as generic bad English, something that I am very good at, probably as a result of reading so many student papers in my former role as college professor. Actually, if I were reading the post for the first time myself, I would probably guess that it was written by someone from India.

I live in Florida, not Arizona.

I want to thank all of you who have supported me through this very trying time. You know who you are.

Finally, in response to those who have publicly questioned whether I am a racist, anyone who knows me will tell you that I have never discriminated on the basis of race, religion, or ethnic origin. I hate anyone who is different from me equally.

Thank you, and God bless.

I'm not a racist either... I'm fond of all races... particularly whites...

[post edit - That is meant to be a joke BTW... ]

And I was slightly offended that non-americans were wrapped in parentheses in your salutation, Pendejo. You're obviously a recent immigrant...

Here ,here. I don't care color a man is as long as his face is white.
Women? That's another story for another day.

Everything is clear now... except for one thing: why would you call yourself pubic hair? is it another form of sarcasm?

Quando estoy en Mexico todas las chicas bonitas me llaman "pendejo." Entonces debe ser una buena cosa, no es cierto?

Actually here in Mexico some people use certain offensive words to demonstrate a level of confidence with their loved ones... so to speak.

Anyway, i have the feeling that I'm not the first mexican you talk about it and pretty sure that you have already a PhD in the "pendejo" subject.

would you like a translation in english? "When I was in Mexico, all of the pretty ladies were calling "asshole." "This is a good thing, is it not"

What is that all about...hey...no hard feelings about you being an asshole...or pubic hair to you...I guess...Peace Amigo

Yes, I've built up a wonderful Spanish vocabulary based on what I've been called in hispanic countries. My first time in Mexico, when my Spanish ees not too very good, I was jogging and a bunch of kids looked up from their play and started yelling, "Flacucho." I figured they were saying something like "gringo god," or "superman." When I got back from the run I asked the desk clerk what it meant, and he told me "skinny one."

When I was in Barcelona and resisted the business propositions of several hookers who aggressively accosted me (at the same time), they all stared yelling "maricon." I did know what that meant.

So I'm a flacucho pendejo maricon, but I figured I'd shorten it to pendejo.

A middle name is always a good choice... especially if you take the last name into consideration.
