I dont know, sales reps generally have some promo stock to hand out to GPs. It would be just like this, purposely untraceable.

Too conspiratorial. Before the Chinese got into producing cheap EPO, the stuff was expensive. Sa was HGH. Perhaps it was a soft dollar payment. All the professors got free phones and 1000 minutes free a month...

perhaps they paid consulting fees, and the pharmas thought of it as endorsement.

So, Freiburg was not out of pocket for the time staff committed, and nor from drug bills.
