And of course from your position of having all the available knowledge you can make proclaimations like that all day long. That's what I like about you experts. I can always rely on your knowledge. |

Warmonger Dumbassbag, This is for sheeple like you: http://www.snopes.com/quotes/goering.asp Göring Interview, Gustave M. Gilbert, Nuremberg Diary, pp. 278–79 'We got around to the subject of war again and I [Gilbert] said that, contrary to his [Göring's] attitude, I did not think that the common people are very thankful for leaders who bring them war and destruction.'--GG HG> "Why, of course, the people don't want war. [Göring shrugged.] Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship." GG> "There is one difference. In a democracy the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare war." HG> "Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country. > You're the king of non sequiturs. Go back to ranting and raving about > pigs, but just for fun why don't you look up deflation first. Oh, I did. I decided fears about sticky wages and menu costs are bullshit. |

Been there, done that. People in the military may know how to do what they were trained to do- shine shoes, clean and operate weapon systems, etc but the vast majority of them know little of history or world events, especially now that there is no draft. -Paul |

Göring was right, and we've all seen plenty of examples of the gullibility of the average American. Now here's a recent example from what's-his-name- Kuntitch- about the Iraq war: "Tell me, what exactly do you know about it? Do you suppose that our leaders simply flipped a coin and went to war? Or maybe they had a great deal more intelligence than you or I have and knew something that we don't know and probably will never know?" Ah yes, the wisdom of our glorious leaders. Like Göring said "It works the same way in any country." -Paul |

Thank everyone who supported Bush in the 2004 elections. Thank them
for it all. It was obvious by then. So they're culpable. If anyone sees Danny Callen or Mark Hickey, thank him for this mess. |

The man who had been given a dishonorable discharge and lied to the American people about where he was and what he saw. |

Don't forget to thank the DNC folks for giving us totally shitty options too. Once again we've got a race with noone worth a shit in it from both parties. How the hell they could've found someone to actually lose to Bush at that point was pure genius. Bill C |
