Thanks Drongo. I don't ever dispute spelling, because, as you for one should know by now, I type faster than I think and thus misspell all the time. I was merely pointing out the humor in the sentence referencing the 12th grade ENGLISH teacher. Funny.

Edit: which, btw Drongo, I for one didn't even assume that Jono's misspelling wasn't intentional. I thought he might be making a funny there and I merely pointed it out in case it wasn't intentional, because I saw it as humorous.

Why don't you guys bring one of your hockey teams on over here so we can beat the shit out of them and then brag about it. I know I for one felt awesome when the US (and just about every other country competing) beat out the Jamaican bobsledders in the Olympics. (And, btw, I was being facetious there. I actually cheered for the Jamaicans and hoped they'd win. If you bring your hockey team here, I'll cheer for them too. . You know what would be really cool is if you, thunder and classic could take the sport up real quick and join the team and come on over and play. I'd be conflicted on who to cheer for under those circumstances, but it'd make a great game I bet. )
.
You lost?
Does this look like an ice hockey forum to you??

C'dale Girl, would you like to make an apology to all non-seppos in this thread for offending us with your seppo drivel.

Nah thunder . . . wasn't it you who said I had nothing to apologize for?

Come on man. You're the self-proclaimed king of the banter. As such, surely you aren't offended, previously, presently or ever. Surely you can take it, right?

I'm pretty sure the other big boys here aren't offended. They seem to handle dishing it out and taking it just fine.

Good God, it is absolutely, positively, physically impossible for you not to respond to a post of mine. Now go ahead and prove me wrong. Please. I'm begging you. Do us ALL the favor. I'm pretty sure others would welcome the silence as well. If you don't prove me wrong now, then . . . well . . . you prove me right. And, you wouldn't want that now would you thunder?

You know, C, if they want to be proud of their Aussie sprinters...let'em. Poor blokes..what else have they got? I mean they don't even have the croc guy, what's-his-name, anymore.

1. Road racing involves a lot of sprinting to win races. Why do you have to care about track cycling to be a good sprinter?

2. I don't understand the argument that Americans are understandably poor at sprinting because 99.9% of Americans don't care about track cycling.

That to me is like answering the hypothetical statement that Americans are relatively poor at math by saying that 99.9% of americans don't care about math...

TDL, thanks for your gentlemanly response.
CG, the aussies have plenty of ice rinks. The difference is their men don't play hockey, they figure skate.
