I guess that neatly demonstrates your grasp of history. |

Let's see: climate scientists aren't to be believed about climate science, historians aren't to be believed about history, professors of health policy aren't to be believed about health policy, evolutionary biologists aren't to be believed about evolution, and economists aren't to be believed about the economy. |

Psst - MOST "climate scientists" deny "global warming". Most of that list of scientists who AGREE with global warming do not have anything to do with climate or atmospheric science. |

They have 3 ATMs out front that have a dozen people in line all the time! The only thing around here that is worse?? The damn Albertsons, they take WIC, food stamps and all other freebie welfare handouts. |

I'm generally speaking in support of free enterprise, but there are times when common sense and/or govt. restrictions may be in order. For example, I'm pretty sure I'm solidly against drug dealing, even if in the strictest sense it is free enterprise. On a similar note, I'm not sure I'm in support of corporations conducting enterprises that at worst encourage, or at the least mitigate the hardships of, illegal immigration. On another note, where's the liberal outcry over the userous interest rates that are being charged to these poor, disadvantaged people who have no where else to turn for credit? |

What's your take on that? At a glance, it sounds "free" to the extent it fits within the existing legal paradigm. What if the paradigm changes? Free banking does not exist in the US. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_banking In the article, note the so-called Free Banking Era in the US was not wholesale free banking. Control was shifted to the states. |
