Yes, Cranky, it seems that people would rather read something that makes them laugh instead of putting them to sleep. However, since my little author-dog, Genevieve, has had a Ph.D. for a full-time tutor since she was two months old, she has a lot to say herself, and I dare say that she espouses a lot of my own philosophy. (However, she doesn't seem to like humans on wheels: roller blades, bikes, wheelchairs, etc. She seems to think it's cheating.)
