He's a hopeful applicant for a new job.

Various observers differ both in his chances for being hired and the
likelihood he can perform to expectations.

His birthday is on August 4th and the book comes out the 5th, so I
know what I'm getting him now. I'll just have to back date the
birthday card or get a funny belated birthday card.

LOL. And some of us have even had reservations about *all* the
applicants. Can we run the ad again and see if anybody else applies?

I find my self surprisingly in agreement with all kinds of people on
this. 300+ million of us and these are the best we can manage?

I happen to know I'd make a great president (or at least I wouldn't
pick a bowser of an intern), but I would never put my family through
that.

Try to imagine running for President and facing some of the people just on
this group who have absolute faith that they know just about everything
there is to know about politics.

I'm talking very much about you Eric. You are probably one of the most
contemptible people I've ever seen on this group. You know absolutely
nothing but are more than prepared to believe you're an authority on
government.
