Valverde will lose time I think.

As will Cunego who has been dropped. Piti is still in the yellow jersey group.

The road is slippery. Menchov attacked, but then took a spill in a hairpin bend. Too bad! He has gotten back to the back to the yellow jersey group.

Cadel is letting gaps open

Evans looks like he is in real pain. Menchov less so. There are some small attacks, but nothing has stuck so far.

Edit: Beaten again by TFF.

Menchov has managed a small gap over Evans! Evans is surely gonna pop. Piti accelerates to join Menchov.

Meanwhile, after lying low for the entire climb, Gerrans takes the win!

Actually, I think that is a bit harsh TFF! He was struggling to hold on to Pate and Martinez, and not really sucking wheels.

Menchov, Saster, Kohl and Piti have a nice lead over Evans. I don't know the time splits though.
