Hi, my name is Sean, I am 47, live on Dartmoor and I am an occassional installer of office furniture and a much more regular rider of a Trek 5500 (both of which the wife has a problem with). I am suffering from a mid-life (yes I intend to live to 94) crisis involving bikes and trying to make them go faster, I guess it makes a change from sports cars and dolly birds

Hi all, from east coast of Norfolk ... so i don't do hills !
Ride mainly the quiet country lanes round the Norfolk Broads, and occasionally a few stretches of Norfolk & Suffolk coastline, up to about 50 miles a day max. Enjoy cycling for the scenery rather than sport, sometimes do a 2 - 3 day outing, with panniers & tent-up somewhere overnight. Anyone else in the area ?

I live just outside of Manchester in a town called Leigh, I do most of my glass dodging around Rivington in the evenings. I work as a computer programmer in Bolton by the reebok stadium. Most of my riding is road riding but i have a mountain bike for the odd times when my mates fancy a jaunt up the wrong side of rivington.

Hello all! Registered yesterday - so I'll introduce myself first. Am a 28y-old teacher, moving to Reading (well, somewhere in the area at least, haven't found a place yet) in August. Currently living in Germany.
Just bought my new touring bike four weeks ago, covered 750km since. Tend to do mostly bicycle travel. But also love to go for evening rides just to retain some level of fitness ;-) ellybis ;-) |

Just joined so here goes.
I'm Jamie, only 16 from Scotland. I'm just starting to get into Cycling as a mate introduced it. I normally cycle at weekends and sometimes in the Pentland Hills. Going on a wee trip hopefully up to Orkney in the summer? |

I'm from Abergavenny in South Wales (Julian Winn is a local). It's pretty much cycling heaven here: beautiful, quiet roads with plenty of hills, a strong club-scene with lots of races and the indoor track at Newport only 20mins away.

I moved to Reading a couple of months ago, was doing a 20 mile commute along the country roads before then, but living nearer work and recent surgery has put pay to it for now. Should be back in the saddle in a couple of weeks. Would love to go for a ride after that. Chris |
