Hello I'll go to Austria in July to visit relatives and will do some biking. Can you recommend some
places to visit by bike. I'm interrested in GrossGlockner but I'm sure there are lots of other great
places to see.

I just love Austria. It's my favourite holiday place. The cities are worth a visit - Vienna,
Salzburg, Innsbruck.

The people are friendly too. And the country is very, very clean.

Salzburg is very pretty, lots of history, and very bicycle friendly. The surrounding country is
very scenic, lots of bikepaths, lots of pretty little villages. The Austrian railroad (OeBB) allows
bikes on just about all their trains. Check out: www.radtouren.at & www.adfc.de , and post your
question in
de.rec.fahrrad for more information. HTH,
