I thought I'd ask the group for suggestions about a new road bike. Actually it'll be the first road bike I've had since I inherited by brother's Schwinn. In the mean time, I've been riding on a hybrid.
I bike in the Philadelphia and Washington DC areas, so I'm looking for a good all around performer that can stand being transported up and down I-95. I'm was looking at a Trek 1500 and a couple of Specialized models. Anyone have any opinions?
