Does anyone have opinions on Bontrager's Race Lite tires (700x23, Kevlar Bead). I imagine a lot of you would have experience with these since they seem to be standard on most mid to upper-end Treks. I am looking for a good all-round tire(Group training rides, some Triathlon, Lots of hills, Maybe some recreational Crits next year).

I have been riding Rubino Pro's with good results but there is a pair of Race Lites at my LBS from a Lemond for about 1/2 the price.

I wouldnt mind any views on these tyres.....anyone got any experiance with them, im lookin to change my tyres soon and im lookin at this and some schalwbe (think that's how you spell it),

Anyone...?

I was worried about the Bontrager tires that came on my Trek 1200, as I have suffered loads of punctures in the area I live in on my hybrid (until I put Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires on - no punctures in 1500km on them!).

On the Bontragers I've kept the pressure up to the recommended 100 psi and have yet to puncture them, and that's what is important to me. As for speed, resistance etc, I'm afraid I'm not that fussy about it so can't advise - puncture resistance for me is key.

Just bought a set yesterday (Bontrager Race Lites), LBS says they're made by Michelin (anyone know for sure?). We'll see how they do, I haven't actually ridden on them yet, but will have by the end of the weekend.
