I say-really tough to compare these days as Campagnolo groupsets that are about
the same price have carbon and aluminum, for the high end, whereas shimano is
aliminum and plastic but GENERALLY, in terms of price ans weights.
Chorus-DA
Centaur-ultegra
Veloce-105
Mirage-tiagra
Record, with lots of titanium and carbon is more $, but in some places on par
price wise with DA.
BUT remember, STI is not repairable or maintainable, whereas all ERGO is.
Campagnolo sahres much, like shifter innards and pulleys all thru the lines. We
just warrantied our third DA 10s right lever.
Also remember Campagnolo has compact cranks and front ders and triples thru out
their line as well.
