cycling in Romania?

I have never been cycling in Romania, but driving a car - yes, a lot. So:
beware of lorries; beware of wide wtaer ditches along the roadside, up to 1
m deep, crazy drivers. I have never seen a cyclist (excpt. some locals) on
my time there

I heard (first hand) that it is extra fine.

Not more then most other countrys in Europe. I would prefer cycling in
Romania more then do it in Germany.

There is an amusing and very instructive trip report of a cyclist looking
for Dracula in Romania and Hungary at www.crazyguyonabike.com. Search for
"Visiting Dracula". It's well worth the read, even if you are not
contemplating riding there.
