BR is einstein of bicycling, it comes out. If he can create a semi-competent rider out of TH (the
7 TdF-no stage wins whatsoever 30 year old TH), he can do serious damage with some of the talent
we got here.

Instead of these schmucks we keep seeing on OLN, who are responsible for US cycling (Ochowicz etc.),
we need BR here. The guy is respected by riders because he won the god damn TdF and whatever else
that needed to be won.

Ca$h him up until he breaks down and agrees to come here, give him a group of youngsters to work
with and we own the tour for the next 20 years.

Le Tour d'Etats-Unis mit dem Intelligenz von Bjarne auf unserer Seite

come to papa Bjarne

(unless something goes horribly wrong during the operation and the progeny ends up having
US-intelligence and Bjarne-$$. that would be uglier than Yeti+Elephant_man+hunchback_of_ND combined
or maybe even uglier than Janet Reno, although that is a long shot)

Amstel Gold. A few others but he was a domestique for most of his career.

I said the same thing about 2 weeks ago but nobody seemed to agree.

Inviting Bjarne Riis to be your national cycling coach would be a bit like inviting Gennady
Touretski to be your national swim coach.

Or Bela Karoly to be your gymnastics coach...

Or some old Polish guy to be your cycling coach so he can help some 16 year-old kid from Nevada win
the Tour someday.

Or some other foreigner to come over and coach your men's soccer team to their best WC finish
in history.

Or some mormon politician try to change the constitution to enable a steroid riddled moovee star the
chance to run for president of the Yew Knighted Staits

--- Tyler had no stage wins because Bruyneel rarely allows his riders to attempt individual stage
wins, it sucks and Cedric Vasser left because of it. C Agricole and CSC allow riders more freedom.
The Posties are a lot stronger than they appear on paper, it is just that the postie domestiques are
too restrained and discouraged from placing high after their jobs are done for the days stage.-----
My proof Look at Tylers position now, Levi would also be in the top ten without his accident but if
these guys were riding for postal they would be forced to be 20 minutes down at least.

Which politician is trying to do that?

The guy is respected by
>riders because he won the god damn TdF and whatever else that needed to be won.
Riis is probably respected by riders even more, because he as a rider can from nothing. He was a
domistique for several years on low salery, often struggling to get a contract, but laboured on
through the years to become a dominiting rider, but also one who has been enourmously gracious with
his wisdom, sharing it not just to his CSC riders, but to people like Jaksche and Ullrich too

Hatch, or Bennett?

The movie star reference must be for Reagan, and I think that was before Bennett. Anyone else
remember Jake Garn? I think he was the first senator launched into space (Glenn wasn't a senator
when he went the first time). But I don't recall either Hatch or Garn trying to change the
constitution, but it wouldn't surprise me if either one tried.

NS used to live in the Beehive state, but it was too hard to get a good beer there

Good old Orin Hatch, Deseret's own senator...

Nope, Ahnold.

There was a t-shirt commemorating this in SLC that had a shuttle nose slightly pointed up in the
grip of a supine hand with the words "Jake off in Space" under it. A classic!

Orin is lobbying as we speak...

Then you haven't tried Park City Brewery, Moab Brewery, Squatters, Uintah, Wasatch, Roosters
(Ogden), Pinnacle (price), McStiffs (Mowabb). Ootah is my primary state for beer, after IN (we have
a great one just 3 blocks from my house, a real obstacle!

Orin and Arnold make sort of an odd couple. And ya, such an obvious steroid abuser would be a very
bad example.

Look at this, Kids! Inject yourself with enough steroids to kill and elephant and maybe someday you
can be President too!

That aside, I don't see anything wrong with changing the that part of the Constitution. If the
people wish to vote for someone born in another country, then so be it.

It would give me a chance: CL not born in the US but not interested in the job... (it would ruin my
road riding)

Denmark, a complete wast of his time
:)

Well, you cant' have him but it is ok for big US corp. to spend money on a danish cycling teams.

Why would it ruin your road riding? If you're the President, you can do

vacations".
