wheels for a cannondale r800

I am about to buy a r800 and was wondering about the wheels. They are a high tension reduced number of spokes - called Gipiemme Grecal Parade

I have found on internet where folks said these rims needed to be trued almost after every ride.

These wheels look cool, but should I swap out to different wheels - traditional spoked wheels.
