Amazing Race ?
Is this the program about people racing round the world - following clues ?

We got the first series of this on Sky One and they stopped showing it halfway
through.
I liked the few episodes that were shown.
There were two cue-ball friends from New York, if I remember correctly and they were busy running round the Eiffel Tower at one point but they couldn't work out the clues.

Did I do well on last nights prog ?

It takes 3-4 hrs. to get from there (Suffolk/Norfolk/Portsmouth) to here. Langley is on the Virginia side (my side) of the Potomac River (N. Virginia), opposite Washington, my stomping grounds. Filled w/ "Spooks" (spies).
That's what he's telling you, Dave.
He works in Langley.

I'd watch those trees if I were you - he's probably lurking there as we speak !!

i like the playstation, anything horror or car related.

i play occasionally on the PC when i have time, i like RGP and strategy too. I have Stronghold 2 on the go and i just got hold of an oldie called American McGee's Alice. Brilliant games.

I was going to get Rome: Total War but it is a very involved game that would require many hours to really get right into it. Graphics look fantastic though...

You can quickly waste about 5-6 hours playing Rome. I'll start playing around 8 and before I even realize it is 1 or 2am.

i.e. a dead cert

put a 1000 quid on him to lose and you'll get 1001 pound back so inevitable is the outcome. Thats the way the odds go.

a bookie obviously wont accept those odds but then i dont know a bookie that much maths at school.

they may give you 2-1 for a loss.
But that's a 100% book with no overround (profit). You can't make a living like that. One day when I've got a lot time to spare we'll go to Ayr races, and I'll show you how it works.

Well you might tell me how I get on at the Ritz, won't you ?

And can you tell me - how did those two New York cueballs get on in that first series ?
Did they win it ?

That's a lovely image.

The beard isn't very aerodynamic for cycling puposes though.

Re: Lance...is he done?

I was contemplating buying a Giant, although I'm still over the moon with my present bike that seems perfect for me.
One of these days I'm gonna take my bike over to the Alpe d' Huez and hopefully kick ass to see what time I can score.
