Hello people,

I have a Bridgestone MB-1 that I want your opinion on. Here is the story:

I bought this frame BRAND NEW (old stock) back in 1997, yes... that's 1997! I got it from The Peddler in El Sobrante, CA. The owner of that shop
had bought all the leftover warranty/extra frame stock from Bridgestone when they went under back in '94/'95. He had a dozen frames of XO's and MBs. They were all tiny sizes except this one, which is a 55cm / 21.5". I jumped at it and bought it. The original lugged Bridgestone fork that was with this frame was lost by the shop in their storage before they shipped it to me (ya, I was ******!!!). Later I found a nice fork that would go well with this frame. After buying the frame I treated the inside of the tubes with JPWieggle Framesaver, had a Stronglight needle bearing headset installed, along with a late '80s Tange Switchblade fork. It sat hanging in my apartment for a few years before I could find the right parts to complete the build. I later installed a NOS Mavic mtb crankset and bb, and then a while after that I completed the build up with some Deore XT parts. So, it's basically built up 'early 90's style'. It has the XT topmount 7sp thumbshifters, Suntour XC Pro pedals, old Salsa Pro Moto stem, etc. The seatpost and saddle are more modern, but I plan on replacing those with a nice Nitto mtb post and maybe a B-17 Brooks saddle from Rivendell.

Anyway, here are the pics:

What do you think it's worth?

Thanks for your opinions,
