Just wondering whether you can true a crank. My problem is my drive side ultegra crank is not turning straight, making it sound like it shouldn't. Is this something that is easy to fix like trueing a wheel?

Thanks to all in advance

if it isnt turing straight then maybe it is a problem with your bottom bracket.........otherwise ur crank is in need of a replacement. it is virtually impossible to straighten an alloy crank arm without causing some kind of damage. Sounds like replacement time to me.

man it is only 6 months old. I may need to send both the bottom bracket and crank back to the store where i purchased it. Thanks dude.

Is the crank arm itself bent or the chainring?

You can bend the chainring back into shape, but very little at a time, they are soft and you can do more harm then good, these just dont bend by themselves, was your ft deraileur to low? and you were trying to shipping into it, did ya have chain suck?

The arm itself is fine I think. The chain ring seem bent. The front deraileur was neven to low, and only lost the chain once but onto the bottom bracket not between the two chain rings.
