Morning All,
I recently picked up pair of Speedplay x/3's and some secondhand adidas road shoes.
I have been running Eggbeaters/WTB off-road pedals and a pair of cheap diadora mtb shoes that I absolutely love!
Question...do any of you roadies have the same feeling that I do, namely, that I would much rather run the Speedplay Frogs with some street/road friendly shoes as opposed to the Speedplay x/3 with strict roadie shoes?
Also, I'm 6'3'' 215 lbs on an 03 Bianchi Pista. My seat post is extended to the max, and the additional height of the road shoe/speedplay x/3 combo has me concerned about my saddle positioning.
In fact, anybody out there interested in trading their Speedplay Frogs for my installed-but-never-ridden X/3's???
