What a surprise! There are people out there who lie and cheat to defraud
believers in alternative medicine.
The shame is that making false claims about the effects of a one cent pill
and selling it for $5 is perfectly legal, so long as it's marketed as a
"supplement." The FDA is powerless to protect the public from these quacks
unless there is an outbreak of injuries or deaths from the product.
Caveat emptor.
