How to adjust Sora rear der

Found a great feature on my Sora rear der today. It has a quick
release! Yes sir, it released the cable real quick while I was changing
a flat. The nut almost quickly released itself from the bike, too.

I've had the bike a few years, but other than a few check-ups at the LBS
it's never need work. I don't know how to properly tension the cable
and make der adjustments. Can anyone help?

Basic information is here:

http://sheldonbrown.com/derailer-adjustment.html#rear

The Sora isn't particularly special in this area.

Typoes are a feature, not a bug.
Some gardening required to reply via email.
Words processed in a facility that contains nuts.
