I should probably tell you to Google it, but Port Moody is a suburb of
Vancouver (Canada), named for Col. Moody, the Royal Engineer who was
responsible for surveying the area.
Historically, it was most famous for briefly being the western terminus
of the Canadian Pacific Railway transcontinental line. Then the line was
extended to Vancouver a year later, and the city lapsed into
unimportance.

It's a lovely little bedroom community on the shore of Burrard Inlet,
and its port is host to the world's largest sulphur export facility
(sulphur comes from Saskatchewan and goes around the world).

Not that I knew beforehand either, but Gonchar/Honchar is a TT
specialist: he's won four TT stages in various Giros d'Italia, and I
think one TT world championship.
