Measuring Hour Power on the Cheap

It's too bad they don't give the power curve of the trainer. Still, one could easily follow the SillyOldTwit "Double Your Power in 6 Months" workout program with that.

The price is right.
Eh. For the extra $50, I'd probably still go with the Kinetic and power computer with free shipping. I'd favor the larger flywheel and heatsink on the fluid unit, the leak-free design, and stainless steel roller. Plus, the whole Kinetic unit just looks more stable and heavy duty.

Oh sure. Where were you when that guy was asking for the power curve for the Blackburn fluid? :p

I am the guy. Thanks All. I already have plotted the power curve. Pretty cool.

Your welcome it's nice to know posting my bicycle trainer dreams is helpful.

OK I drank the kool-aid and ordered a Kinetic road machine with the computer so where is the sillyoldwit double your power in 6 months plan?

And your reading speed will definitely be 300W.:D
Yeah but....we keep adding to it! The behemoth of a thread continues!

Well incase any experts want to save me the reverse engineering job that will follow reading that thread. My 15 minute climbing power is 226 watts and my 30 minute climbing power is 197 watts. Thats all I know until my trainer arrives.
