Do you think you might have felt differently if the team had a GC contender for the grand tours?

lulz.

Tech Tip of the Day.....

Web page ads (and general shit clogging up the pipes).

- Use Firefox. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/ IE is balls, Chrome does very strange things with text cut&paste.

- Install AdBlock Plus extension (free). http://adblockplus.org/en/ Steve might not like this, but we generate all the good content here that drives traffic... (lols).

- Instal the British dictionary like a sir. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/british-english-dictionary/

Send me the name of the advertiser and and I'll see if we can have them blocked.

I agree with this very sensible suggestion - I have been running the above combination for several years now and enjoying trouble free viewing

Using Safari, it's top right of the page, below the CF header, to the right of the big TAN header. Target ad first then some other seppo shit, a few of them in a row every time you touch something on the page, like eg when I just pressed quote to type this. Scrolling back up and clicking pause just opens the same ad in a full screen new window. I assume it might be a google adchoices thing?, but it really sucks balls.

Well, I've kegged and carbonated her Belgian Ale, two and a half weeks fermenting and it only came down to 1.016 from 1.060 but the T58 yeast I'd never used before when ballistic and was pretty much done in the first 24 hours and blew up 6*C into the high 20s, was very fruity and winish early but seems to have settled down and gotten spicier and subtler after a long lazy couple of weeks sitting with the odd late swirl to finally convince it to get under 1.020.

I bartered today's one hour of work for her birthday dinner and drinks at a decent local pub tonight. Now if I can just find a rather large cardboard box in the next half an hour I should be sweet. wink.gif Ah just spied a shoebox in the cycling stash. Perfect.

Oh and I'll drive her up to Byron Bay for the weekend to go to my brother's wedding which I'm not invited torolleyes.gif, and rather better, catch up with some old mates and show her the local sights for the first time (it's weird that a NSW chick of undisclosed age has never been to Byron) with some camping and mtbing  in the Border Ranges NP especially. Maybe I'll bake her a cake in the Trangia. That'll have to do, even if she might end up having to pay for the petrol home.redface.gif

No browser issues here with the 64bit version of IE under Windows7.

Didn't realize it'd take a Core i5 processor to get Cyclingforums.com to load quick. ROTF.gif
