Some of the first video of released journalist
Alan Johnston showed him in a room at a table
full of food surrounded by people busily eating,
though I didn't notice Johnston eating anything.

But none of the news stories explained that part.
I suspect that was in the home of Hamas prime
minister Ismail Haniyeh, and that maybe there
is some sort of significance in Arab culture
to showing the hostage you just got released
at your dinner table.

In the video shown on today's New Hour with Jim Lehrer,
he is eating something.

In the description of that video, the other parties
are described as "leaders of Hamas".

Now *this* is trollish. I don't think it really matters here.
