I've used these pedals for less than 2 years (6000 mi) and can't belive they may be worn-out?
I recently replaced the cleats and that center plastic deal but with less than 500 mi on them there squeaking and squaking already (they drive me crazy)
Can anyone suggest a pedal with a longer life than this? And has anyone had likewise problems with these?
Maybe this is a normal pedal life? Thanks for any insight. Mark

check with your local shop to see if any of the parts are serviceable -- if not, try some Ultegras. I've been using 4 pairs of them (I rotate on my 4 main bikes) for about 3 years, and I haven't worn them out yet. I do about 17,000 to 19,000km a year (jee, what a pro ****** :p)

If you like the Shimano pedals, go with the new version of the Dura Ace ones. I have a pair and they are great. I would contact Shimano about your problem. They may have advice as to where you can put some lube or grease.
