Great cycling clips

I think what this forum needs is a thread of video clips. There have been some good posts lately with links to You Tube and having these types of posts consolidated should be a good thing. The clips can be anything entertaining, educational, etc. as long as they involve cycling. Perhaps a Cipo sprint, Lemond-Hinault duel, whatever. They can be from You Tube, home video (I have a couple from the Tour of California hopefully I did not record over), links to cycling news sites, or anywhere else.

Include a brief description and add a note if there is something you are trying to point out in the clip.

I’ll start.

Clip: Armstrong getting dropped in a TT by the doped up locomotive Miguel Indurain.
Length: 30 seconds

here's one for you: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu_N5sgl3fE&mode=related&search=

Both good clips. Indurain passes Armstrong like a telephone pole.

The 7-Eleven one was good also. Eric Heiden was the most amazing athlete.

Gold medals in speed skating and then to complete the Tour? Won't ever see that again. Fans seemed to love him.

Mr Greenfield scores a touchdown with Debbie

not really Debbie Does Dallas, but I made you look, you pervert

Thanks for the idea. I just got looking at some of the youtube clips (0'85 Paris Roubaix is great http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QvAdfqo43s0 ) and I am reminded about why I love cycling!

Its almost like being able to go back in history to a simpler time, a safer time, and we could look at the pros like they were some kind of God. Thats all gone now.

Dickface way to pick the one example where Lance shows he's human. He was also carrying around a nine-pound nut at the time. I'll find the clip where he passes Ullrich.

Lance had no work ethic. Lance was lazy and stupid (dumb doping program) before Nike invented him.

You can see how weak Lance truly was w/o cow blood and Michele Ferrari.

WRONG! Lance never doped. Indurain's blood was so packed with cells it was like lava. Once Lance unhitched that boulder downstairs he started to fly.

LIVE STRONG!! $0.99 Nike sneakers!

Extremists on the left are the same nut jobs as those on the right, just coming around the other side.

Zzzzzzzzzzz. Saluki, no surprise that you lap up every last drop of dubious propaganda from Lance's dog bowl. Rather than just dreaming about it like you , Dr. Ed Coyle actually weighed LA at the University of Texas. After winning his first Tour (that's France, not Spain) LA was recorded as being 2lb HEAVIER than when he started at Motorola. In fact, apart from the immediate cancer period his weight only varied by a few pounds over the seven years that he was tested. Of course, I don't expect that a matter of public record will interrupt your fantasies.

No Nike endorsement, no cow blood, no victory for Pharmstrong.

Nike can fix the rape charges for NBA Kobe Bryant, plead away illegal gambling and dog torture for NFL Mike Vick, and make a filthy dirty OLN Lance appear clean.

Swoosh! Just do it!

Jan Ulrich needed Nike.

Indurain was an animal. I like the one of Lance Destroying Ulrich in the 05 prologue/TT.

Congratulations!! Your boy Cavendish (and his asthma tank) won a sprint today. He should be well rested considering he abandoned the Tour before it even began I think. Have a tub of stout on me.

Saluki,

I can't believe you are calling yourself a dickface. Trying to throw us off the trail by that reverse psychology stuff?

Anyway, I kind of like the youtube stuff shot by the guys wearing helmet cams during crits. "SprinterDellaCasa" has a few good races on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-teN9UWFMg

Wow. That's pretty cool. Good job! You finally made a post in which you did not attack America. This must be your day off from your job at CNN.

America leads the world in research drugs, steroids, cow blood and 'structured finance' doping products. Structured finance = CDOs, CLO, SPEs, Levered Hedge Funds, deceptive marketing, $300 Nike sneakers, Disney-ESPN NFL dog fighters.

Nobody kill more people with Blood-for-Oil than do SUV gas guzzling Americans.

Thanks for asking!
